Oh my…I just watched my first episode of Gary Vaynerchuk’s Wine Library TV - a video blog about, obviously, wine.
This has to be one of the coolest video blogs I’ve witnessed since Ze Frank’s The Show. It’s produced well, and it’s totally down-to-earth. I have a feeling I’ll be drinking more wine in the future after I watch some more episodes. See the video below for a nice…um…taste:

how dare you compare that drivel to “The Show with Ze Frank”. ug.
Wow, that’s a strong reaction
I wasn’t saying it was as good as the inimitable “The Show” - just that it’s the best I’ve seen since then. The spotty landscape of video blogs is mostly a wasteland, and any bright spot is refreshing to me.
But I guess his style, like he says about wine, all comes down to taste
I know. There was certainly lots of good content in there, but the quality didn’t compare to ze (in my opinion). This also should tell you how highly I felt about Ze’s work… I am still stunned by “The Show”.
Question, is there a difference between a video blog and a video podcast? One of the higher quality vPodcasts I have seen was TikiBarTv - also one centered around drinking… really funny (and campy), and lala is painfully cute. As one who appreciates music too, you really need to check out “Flight of the Conchords” as well. They are hysterical, and HBO makes it so the production is also high quality.
Dude! Flight of the Conchords! I think you missed the several posts I had about those guys a week or so back.
I even posted the “Bowie’s in Space” clip from HBO’s show last week.
Those guys are the perfect combination of excellent song writing, and the quirky brand of humor that so tickles my brain.
